Inspired by nature, my love of perfume and my grandmother.

It all started when…

I was a barely out of diapers and my grandmother converted our backyard into a urban farm. It was a magical time growing up in Philadelphia surrounded by everything that was hustle and bustle. We (my mother and I) were always on the move but someway and somehow my grandmother, found a way to slow us down and by taking the yard of an old apartment building and transforming it into an oasis of green beans, lettuce and carrots just to name a few things. Growing up you could find her baking carrot cakes, gathering ingredients to help with eczema or teaching me about the lymphatic system at a young age.

I am Nikkie one of the original founders of Lucky Lucy Body Desserts. My love and passion for health, wellness and beauty started as soon as I sat in the salon as a toddler. The inspirations that I draw from would be both of my grandmothers. My maternal grandmother was very earthy and believed in the power of using the earth to heal you, while my fraternal grandmother Beatrice was a lover of perfumes and everything feminine. My maternal grandmother Ethel Lucille aka Lucy passed down her knowledge of holistic living to those in her family from the very beginning and that is what is incorporated into each of our products.

In my personal efforts to fuse together sensual fragrances with natural ingredients, Lucky Lucy Body Desserts was formed. Originally birthed in my kitchen in 2012—my friend Tara and I launched in my other hometown, Atlanta trying to push the boundaries of what was available at the time.

Guess what, life happened i.e., children were born and careers took precedence. However, in 2021 Lucky Lucy was taken off the shelf, revamped, beautified and put back out into the world for you to enjoy!

All of our products are rigorously tested prior to production—to be able to give you the best of what we have to offer. We locally source goods here within PA and the US to help with our carbon footprint. Lucky Lucy truly respects and values each and every one of our Lucky Lu’s and we will only sell you top-of-the-line products that are proven to work.
